Senior Civil Engineer

Description:

Terra-Max Engineering is seeking a civil engineer with experience in land development, utility design, and stormwater design. Candidate should also have experience with permitting through local, state, and federal agencies. Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering required.

Skills and Abilities:

• Have knowledge of and experience in all aspects of site civil engineering for residential and commercial site design including grading and drainage design, utility design site and roadway layout

• Have a solid understanding of the typical land entitlement process in Florida including permitting at the local and state level

• Have a complete understanding of the Florida Stormwater Management Regulations

• Have experience preparing graphics and maps

• Strong computer skills

• Candidate must have experience in land development, utility design, and stormwater design

• Strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis

• Storm-water management design, Low Impact Development, infrastructure design, storm sewer design, grading and site design

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering required

• 2 to 5 years of civil engineering experience 

• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills

• HydroCAD and StormCAD experience
